Deleting an account

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Before requesting deletion

  1. Cancel your subscriptions from your customer area. The instance remains available until the end of the paid period.
  2. Export your forms and answers (CSV, Excel or PDF) from your instance. Once deleted, they cannot be recovered.

2. How to request deletion

There is no delete button: write to contact@altius-group.ch from your account's email address, or use the support page while logged in. We verify your identity if needed, process the request and confirm the deletion by email.

3. What is deleted

  • Your customer account and profile data (name, email, phone, company).
  • Your hosted instances, with their forms, answers and files, within a reasonable time after the subscription ends, once the backups have expired.
  • Your self-hosted licence keys, which stop being valid.

4. What is kept

Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by Swiss law (art. 958f CO). They are used for that purpose only.

5. Users of an instance

If your account is a user account in an organisation's instance (for example to fill in its forms), deleting it is up to that instance's administrator. Contact them: they can delete your account in the Users menu.

6. Mobile app

Signing out of the mobile app removes your credentials from the device. Uninstalling the app also erases answers still waiting to be sent, so send them first if you need them.
