Themes and branding

With the Themes menu, the instance and your forms take on your organisation's look. People who respond see your brand, not ours.

Create a theme

  1. Open Themes, then New theme.
  2. Set the colours: Main colour, Accent colour and page background, plus the shade of greys.
  3. Choose the shape: Corners (square to very rounded), border width, shadows and density.
  4. Choose the Text font and the Heading font.
  5. Tune the forms: width, header style, labels above or left of the fields, and light, dark or device-based mode.
  6. Watch the Preview, updated as you change settings, then click Save the theme.

Your brand

In the Brand part of the theme:

  • Logo and a logo for dark backgrounds, shown automatically in dark mode;
  • Favicon;
  • Displayed name: replaces "AltiusForms" in titles and the footer;
  • Hide "Powered by AltiusForms": the mention disappears from your forms.

Default theme or per form

Tick Instance default so the theme applies to every page and form without a theme of its own. A form can also pick another theme in its Settings: handy for a campaign or a particular client.

Custom CSS

For fine adjustments, the advanced part accepts Custom CSS. For security reasons, @import and external url() are refused.

Forms embedded on your website use the chosen theme too (see Embedding a form).
