Filling in on site
The app fills in the same forms as the browser, with the phone's sensors on top. Conditions (questions that appear or become required) apply too.
Opening a form
- from the Forms tab;
- by tapping Scan and pointing at the QR code printed on a document, a poster or a machine;
- without an account, through Public forms.
Photos, videos and audio
- Photo: take it with the Camera or pick it from the Photo library; several photos if the question allows it.
- Video: tap Record a video.
- Audio: tap to record, then Stop and keep.
- Files: tap Choose a file to attach a document.
The app asks for camera or microphone access the first time.
Location and maps
- GPS position: tap GPS to fix your position, or move the map to adjust it.
- Area on a map: tap the map to place points (at least 3); Remove the last corner fixes a mistake.
Your location is only read when you answer such a question.
Signature
Tap Tap to sign, sign with your finger, then confirm. Start again clears it.
Tables and lists
- Table: Add a row, then fill in each cell (text, number, yes/no, choice, date).
- Data lists: tap the question, search with Search… and pick from the list provided by your instance.
Sending
Tap Send. If a required answer is missing, the app tells you which. Without a network, the answer waits on the device (see Working offline).
Joining a live session
- On Home, tap Join a collaborative form, or scan the session's QR code.
- Enter the 6-character session code, Your name and, if you received one, your Slot code.
- Tap Join: other people's answers appear live.
Only the person who started the session can Finish it.
