The analysis Studio

The analysis Studio

Every form has its own Studio with five tabs: Data, Analyses, Report, Automations and Export. The Analyses menu in the sidebar opens the overview of all your forms; click a form to enter its Studio.

The overview

It shows what your forms receive: total answers, the trend against the previous period and the latest answers. The Compare forms block puts two or more forms side by side (hold Ctrl or Cmd to select several).

The Analyses tab

Results refresh automatically after each new answer.

  • Summary — every question at a glance: answer distribution, charts, response rate, plus data quality notes (questions often left empty, outlying values).
  • Hypothesis tests — pick two questions and click Test: the statistical test that suits the question types is chosen for you and the result is explained in plain words, with a robust test when the classic test's assumptions do not hold.
  • What drives a result — pick a question, then Explain: you see which other answers move together with it.
  • Segments — groups answers that look alike and shows what sets each group apart.
  • Prediction — pick a question to predict, then Predict: a statistical model is trained on past answers, its performance is measured on answers set aside, and the questions that weigh most are ranked.

Keeping a result

Add to report sends a chart or table to the Report tab (see Reports).

These analyses are statistics: with few answers they are only indicative. The Studio tells you when there is not enough data.
