Viewing and sorting answers

Every form that is sent becomes an answer stored in your instance. You find it in two places: the Answers menu, covering all your forms, and the Data tab of each form, for detailed work.

The Answers menu

  1. Open Answers in the sidebar.
  2. The list shows the latest answers across all forms, with the date received and who sent it (or "Anonymous").
  3. Filter on one form, then click a row to open the answer.

An answer's page shows every value, the files, photos, videos, audio recordings, the signature and the GPS position. The Download PDF button produces a laid-out document of that answer, ready to file or pass on.

Sorting answers

In a form's Data tab, the Submission triage block keeps only the answers you need:

  1. Click Add a rule and pick a question.
  2. Pick a condition: is, contains, starts with, is empty, is filled in, is one of, before / after / between for dates, and so on.
  3. Add more rules and use Combine with to say whether all of them must match (AND) or at least one (OR).
  4. Click a row in the table: the answer's details open alongside, without leaving the list.

Saving a segment

Keep a useful filter: click Save segment, give it a name and, if you like, a description. Tick the sharing option so other people with access to the form find it under My segments.

Answers cannot be edited once sent: they stay exactly as they were entered. An answer can be deleted from its page.
