The form builder

Every form is created in the builder, from the Forms menu of your instance.

Create a form

  1. Open Forms and click the create button.
  2. Choose Start from scratch, or a ready-made starter you can adapt:
  3. Site inspection;
  4. Registration;
  5. Satisfaction survey;
  6. Contact request.
  7. Name the form. The builder opens.

A starter is only a starting point: every question and section can be changed.

Build the form

  • Add questions from the 27 available types.
  • Group them with Add a section and pick their layout.
  • Drag and drop to reorder questions and sections.
  • Add conditions to show a question, or make it required, depending on earlier answers.

The Steps ring at the top of the builder shows your progress: questions added, settings done, form published.

Try before you publish

Try opens the form exactly as respondents will see it, conditions included. Nothing is stored as a response, so you can test as often as you like.

Settings

Under Settings you choose, among other things:

  • Who can respond? — Public, Access code, Signed-in people or Chosen groups (see Share and fill in);
  • the description and texts shown;
  • the visual theme.

Publish

While you work, your changes stay in draft. Click Publish changes to put them online: respondents then see the new version. Responses already received are kept.
