Signing in

Each customer has its own instance, so the app first needs to know which address to connect to.

With the instance address

1. Open the app and tap Sign in to my workspace.
2. In Workspace address, enter your instance address, for example your-name.altiusforms.com (or your own domain). You received it by email when your account was created; otherwise ask your administrator.
3. Enter your Email and Password, then tap Sign in.

With a QR code

Tap Scan a QR code and point at the code of a form or a session. The app checks that the address really belongs to an AltiusForms instance, connects to it and opens the form straight away. No address to type.

Without an account

For a public form, tap Browse public forms or Continue without an account: you fill in and send without signing in. You can sign in later from Profile › Sign in to this workspace.

Your credentials stay protected

Sign-in tokens are kept in the system's secure vault: the iOS Keychain on iPhone and iPad, the Android Keystore on Android. They are never stored in plain text and never leave the device.

When the session expires

After a while the session expires. The app then shows Your session has expired over the current screen. Tap Sign in again and enter your password: you are back exactly where you were, with everything you typed kept.

Switching instance

If you work for several organisations, use Switch workspace in Profile and enter the other address. Sign out removes your credentials from the device.
