Appointments and calendars
The Appointment question lets the person filling in a form pick a free slot. The appointment is booked at the same moment the response is sent: two people can never take the same slot.
Calendars
Under Appointments › Calendars, each calendar has:
- its weekly availability (several ranges per day) and exceptions (closed day, special hours);
- the slot length, a buffer between appointments, a minimum notice and a horizon (for example 60 days);
- a location: video call, on site or phone, with its text or link;
- an owner, who manages their own calendar and sees their appointments.
In the form
Add an Appointment question and choose one or more calendars. With Choose the person, the public first picks with whom, then the slot. The picker shows a strip of days, then the free times, on a computer as on a phone.
After booking
- The person and the calendar receive an e-mail with an .ics invitation, Google Calendar and Outlook buttons, and a Manage the appointment link to move or cancel it.
- A reminder is sent the day before.
- Each calendar has a personal iCal feed (“My appointments”) to add once to Google Calendar, Outlook or Calendar: it updates on its own. Its address is secret and can be regenerated.
